点评:Magazine Beach which is located in the far southwest corner of the island is a nice spot offering a sandy beach and less crowds than Grand Anse or Morne Rouge. This is a much more laid-back beach. There were no loungers or umbrellas to rent nor was there a beach bar open on the day that I visited. I also don't recall any bathrooms or other facilities. There were hardly any others on the beach on the Friday morning I visited. Bring your beach towel and find a spot under a tree for some shade and enjoy the warm breeze and the sound of the waves. Bring your own refreshments. There is also a reef just offshore offering some descent snorkeling which was a bit unexpected at such a sandy beach. The reef can be found just north of the mid-point on the beach. I used Grenada's Uber equivalent Haylup to get around when visiting the island. No problem getting a ride to the beach but leaving was a bit dicey. There isn't good cell phone reception at the beach and the Haylup App was somewhat clunky. It took a while to get a driver and I still wasn't sure it worked as it kept cutting out before confirming but luckily a driver did eventually show up. You may want to arrange for someone to come pick you up when getting dropped off.
