Overnight stay & Dinner - Both Awesome

点评：This was a last minute booking - do not believe Booking.com - and the Landlady was up to her eyes in only her 2nd week of opening. But, she is a Star. The C&A was very easy to find, in a very quiet and safe neighbourhood, and conveniently for us, directly enroute to Hull.
The rooms are simply Huge! Very comfortable bed, full ensuite, full tea & coffee making facilities.
The bar was staffed by warm and friendly ladies, who had an impressive Gin range and a decent selection of beers.
The food however was 2DieFor - hand cooked by the Landlady. Unfortunately, due to her only having had the kitchen a week, there was no set menu. No worries, she presented an awesome Steak & Stilton pie with OMG gravy. I had chips which were like chip-shaped mini-roast potatoes my partner had mash and said it was delicious. We would definitely recommend this pub, in fact already have to several of our friends. We will be back - and that is a Promise. That you very much for everything.
