Lovely, small beach totally ruined by (greedy?) local developers!!

点评：My wife and myself are currently holidaying in Zante (staying at the excellent Elegance Luxury Executive Suites in the hills of Tragaki - Review to follow) and earlier today we walked down to Bouka (Donkey) Beach which we were informed was far superior to the nearby Tsilivi one.
What a disappointment as - whilst in its day it may have been a lovely beach - it has now been totally ruined by local developers having been granted permission to construct 20 or so Apartment’s not only in the centre of the beach but taking over the beach frontage as well.
Not sure how this has been allowed to happen but it is certainly does nothing to enhance Zante’s reputation and has totally ruined what was hitherto a most attractive local attraction!!
One of the few redeeming feature is the Gaidaros Beach Bar - whose business has almost certainly dropped since the adjacent Property Development was given the go ahead?
Not somewhere I would pay a return visit!
