点评：We booked a 5D/4N photography Klotok tour with Varada Borneo and were very satisfied with several aspects of the experience. The crew was friendly and attentive, the guide knowledgeable and engaged, and the boat itself was comfortable and well organized. Overall, the tour was professionally run, and we would generally recommend this kind of experience.
However, the actual itinerary differed significantly from what was described on the website. One trekking activity (advertised as 3–4 hours) did not take place at all, and another “3–4 hour” trek lasted only about 10 minutes without really feeling like a proper trek. In addition, we spent much less time cruising on the Klotok than expected—for example, we were anchored at one camp from one evening until the next afternoon.
This was disappointing, as we chose and paid more for the longer photography tour, but in hindsight could have had a similar experience with a shorter trip. Due to the activities that did not take place, the focus on photography also suffered, which was a key reason for choosing this tour. We also contacted the provider by email about this but did not receive a response, which we found unfortunate.
That said, aside from these issues, we were very happy with the crew, guide, and overall setup. However, under these circumstances, we do not feel that the price for the 5D/4N tour was reasonable.
