Great way to spend our 25th wedding anniversary

点评：We were on a 3 week tour of California and happened to be in Napa on the day of our 25th Wedding anniversary.
If you have visited Napa you will appreciate its main offering is wine. Fine for a wine lover like me but not great for my wife that drinks gin with lemonade (very occasionally).
Shadybrook however seemed to offer a relaxing afternoon with a few nibbles....it didn't disappoint and offered much more!
We arrived around 12.30 and were shown to our table overlooking the vineyard...spectacular views (see pics). We had a glass of Rose wine on arrival (very nice( Our host was a lovely young man that told us about the vineyard and answered any questions we had.
We then had a selection of 6 wines each, 3 at first followed by another 3 when these were finished. We were encouraged to try different cheses, olives or crisps to see how flavours changed.
It took a couple of hours, even as a non wine drinker my wife felt very relaxed and had a great time. They made us feel special. Well worth the cost of around 100 dollars each. You can pay much more and I suspect not get as good an experience.
