点评:Saguaro National Park is split east and west of Tucson, and we stuck with the East (Rincon) side first. The visitor center film is short and useful, then the paved Cactus Forest Loop drive puts you right among the big saguaros with pullouts for photos. We hopped out for a couple of short trails and the desert smell after a cool morning felt sharp and clean. No shade once you’re on the path, so water and a hat mattered even in winter. Rangers were friendly and helped us pick a walk that matched our time. If you only have one side, East is the easier drive. West has more dirt road and Signal Hill petroglyphs if you want a second stop later. Sunrise or late afternoon light makes the cacti glow. Don’t try summer midday unless you love heat — this park rewards cooler months.
