Shire Eco Safari Camp的点评
点评：Had a lovely time at Shire Eco Safari Camp, one of the few camps (or only camp?) in Liwonde owned and run by a Malawian family.
Billy Mphande the founder of the camp had generously communicated with us before we arrived providing in-depth information about the safaris etc,
His son Billy junior welcomed us once we arrived, and took great care of us from picking us up free of charge in Liwonde to organising the boat safari and always having time to chat about the park, the wildlife, the world.
Billy was very generous with his time on the boat safari, the distance covered and knowledge of wildlife that he shared.
The camp is in the bush, peaceful and spacious with no neighbours close by. Nothing but the sounds of nature, hippos and birds being all that could be heard at night.
The camp is rustic and solar-powered, the chalets simple but beautiful, with thatched rooves and comfortable beds.
Billy’s wife cooked delicious food, catering to all individual preferences.
It was a memorable couple of days and I will definitely go back.
