Best Driver, Guide and Transport for a 10 Day Trip in Sri Lanka

点评：Initially, we contacted Ample Tours for train tickets from Nanu Oya to Ella, as they had a good reputation for securing difficult-to-obtain train bookings. At the time, we hadn't started arranging a full-time driver and minibus for our 10-day trip, but after accepting an offer from Ample Tours, we were set up easily, starting with Suresh picking us up at Colombo airport after midnight and quickly taking us to our Colombo hotel.
For background, I have worked for the same Japanese construction company for the last 17 years across five Asian countries. One of their company rules is that no employee is allowed to drive any vehicles, so they assign a driver to each senior staff member. As a result, I have extensive experience with drivers, driving styles, and assistance during this time.
In all respects, Suresh exceeded my experience in all my previous years, including safe driving, driving style, and assistance and guidance throughout the trip.
I can outline many more details, but it's sufficient to say that Suresh’s service and assistance made the trip special. We were continuously assisted throughout with recommendations for places to visit, restaurants, cafes, etc., and the best areas to shop. It is an understatement to say that trying to co-ordinate and organise a party of seven, with ages from 72 to 11, into a vehicle at the same time without leaving something behind is not an easy task!
Suresh helped us finalise and book all the trip items we hadn’t yet sorted.
Any customer following in our footsteps will be very fortunate to find that Suresh is available to guide them through Sri Lanka. If he is not fully booked in the coming months, he will inevitably be, given his expert, natural skills.
