Arrogance and disrespect abound

点评：Unfortunately, our experience here was incredibly disappointing. The woman at the counter was demeaning, arrogant, and unnecessarily rude from the moment we interacted with her. Her attitude made us feel as though we were an inconvenience rather than potential customers.
I honestly wanted to have my Julia Roberts Pretty Woman moment and say, “Big mistake. Huge.” We had been antique shopping throughout London and the Cotswolds and had purchased quite a few pieces along the way. We absolutely would have been happy to do the same here had we been treated with even a basic level of courtesy and respect.
A beautiful shop and lovely antiques can only go so far when the customer experience is so unpleasant. Hopefully, the staff will consider treating future customers with a little more kindness and respect—you never know who is ready to buy.
