Deep sand, driver got lost

点评：Some of the swells could’ve been taken at a slightly slower speed to reduce spinal compression; a warning could’ve been given about the depth of the sand when stepping into the water (we knew about the exit onto the beach) to avoid loss of balance & ankle injury, and we could’ve been warned to smile for the videos that the locals were taking, of us two older ladies disembarking from the boat. Charming.
Even though the driver followed Google Maps, we were dropped at the bottom of the hill - not the top entrance to our hotel. This necessitated climbing up a very steep path and many steps with help from the Hotel staff. Not the driver’s fault but something that needs to be noted. He was going to drop us at the top entrance but another hotel worker had already gone to get assistance. The driver did everything he could to assist us in the circumstances and given his lack of English – thank goodness for Google Translate.
We have cancelled our return trip on Arthamas, and booked with Rocky who have a pontoon for easier embarkation - don’t really want to be videoed attempting to get on the boat, after yesterday’s experience.
