Dog Friendly, Great for families, best for large vehicles
The Arboretum at Flagstaff的点评
点评：We are a small family of three including our dog. Visiting Flagstaff was a great way to beat the heat and enjoy nature.
Through the public library, we nabbed a culture pass for free admission for two to the Arb.
The ride up to the Arb I’ll admit was daunting. We drive a 15+ year old car up there and at moments weren’t sure it would make it. Our car shook violently on the road to the Arb and made that a very unpleasant experience. I suggest taking an SUV or bigger tired vehicle.
Once we got to the Arb we were glad to be able to experience some native flora as well as sit for a talk on honeybees, nature walk and there was another event going on but we left beforehand.
Our dog enjoyed being able to sniff some of the flowers and explore the land.
I would recommend but please look into events happening that day so you can really get a great experience.
