Worst Escape Room Experience

点评：We were really disappointed with our experience at Escapology Escape Rooms in Tewksbury.
Our group of five spent over $200 to play, but the experience was frustrating because we repeatedly couldn’t get the help we needed. Almost every time we pressed the hint/help button, we waited a long time with no response. On two separate occasions, we actually had to leave the room and walk to the front desk just to get someone to assist us.
After the game, we were told they had a new employee who wasn’t providing the help requests as they should have been. While I understand that new staff need training, that’s not something customers should have to pay the price for—especially during a timed escape room experience where every minute counts.
To make matters worse, the only compensation offered was one free game for one person. There were five of us, half of whom live out of state, and the rest of us have no plans to return after this experience. A partial refund or a more appropriate resolution would have shown that they valued their customers.
The room itself had potential, but the poor game management completely took away from the experience. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this location based on how this situation was handled.
