点评:We had a few hours to burn before we got on our cruise ship later that day, so we came at opening at 9:30am to walk through. You can buy tickets online ahead of time and then skip the line and go scan, or you can wait in line to buy tickets in person. They have a photo opportunity (upcharge) if you would like at the beginning of the entrance. There is also a gift shop. You enter on the first floor of the main building and walk through and around. It is a lot about the ocean floor and they have some touch tanks and lots of sea stars. The coolest part for us was seeing the octopus. They have a small kids area and then you briefly pass outside to the next area. There is a glass dome area with fish swimming all around and we spent some time in there. Then you move outdoors (but covered), and you can see the birds, seals, and sea otters. They were all so fun. There are even a few opportunities to go outside and see the views which make for great pictures. Its pretty small and quick to walk through, then you follow the signs and move on over to the next building which is newly opened. You will have to scan your ticket again because it is a separate entrance. Here it is very open concept. There are two levels and again another huge tank with so many things in it, we also spent some time here looking at all the different fish. They have touchscreens that you can click and see/learn more about different fish and what you are looking at. They have a few other areas to walk through, but it is also small and quick. Be sure to use the restroom here before you leave since it is hard to find one on the pier otherwise. But your ticket is good for all day admission so you could leave and come back again during the day, so you could come back and use the restroom there. Overall we spent about 1 hour walking through both buildings and I think we walked at a normal pace. Though you could definitely spend less or more time for sure. I think for the price you should spend some more time if you can. There is lots to read and look at, especially if you like watching the otters swim, or learning about all the different fish in the tank. Overall this was a fun way to spend about an hour seeing some interesting and local sea life.
