Cueva De El Castillo的点评
点评：We'd looked forward to doing two tours here and had booked well in advance. We booked the Cueva de El Castillo and the Cueva de Las Monedas.
The Tour Leaders could not have been more unwelcoming if they'd tried and were, in essence, deliberately rude, especially at Las Monedas.
At the first tour, El Castillo, there were seven participants, four Germans, two Portuguese and one Spaniard. The guide, who spoke fluent English, started the tour speaking Spanish, which only the Spaniard understood. When we pointed out that only one of us understood what was being said and requested that he gave the tour in English, (which everyone understood), he said that if we wanted him to speak in English we should have booked all seven tickets for the tour and that this was stipulated on the website. No-one of the seven of us had seen any such detail on the web, and when it was pointed out that there was no earthly point in giving an hour-long tour that was only understood by one person he gave the tour in English but with a bad grace.
In Monedas it was worse and though she could have spoken the essence of the tour in English, she refused point blank, not even making sure that the safety instructions were understood by all present. It was in any case a total waste of time, mostly showing the participants stalactites and stalagmites as far as we could make out. The one part of this tour that we understood was the part where she complained about tourists in general and Americans in particular. It was not a pleasant experience.
