Brilliant escape games - must plays if you're in the area!

点评：I'd played some of Co-Decode's online escape rooms during lockdown, so was very excited to finally get to play their IRL escape rooms, and they did not disappoint. We played all three available experiences - 'Sub-Terra', 'Crew' and the new table top game 'Pieces of Eight' - and all three were wonderful fun. We're experienced players with a lot of games under our belt but each of the games kept us busy and challenged in absolutely the best way. There are a lot of puzzles in 'Sub-Terra' (which we love) and lots of fun crammed into a fairly compact space, with some innovative puzzle reveals and solves that were very satisfying. 'Crew' is a different kind of experience, where winning points is the aim of the game rather than escaping - this is a great mental challenge, which requires team work and both logical and lateral thinking. It's probably the closest we'll ever get to crewing a space ship while being a lot more fun. Finally, 'Pieces of Eight' is so much more than the 'tabletop game' description suggests - it is a huge amount of fun packed into a crate or two. Beautifully designed and built, it had us squealing with delight as we progressed. Really just a brilliant experience.
Also, huge thanks to Alex who had to deal with us arriving in chaotic, frazzled fashion and managed to help us play all three games in a short space of time, even feeding us snacks to keep our energy up! A brilliant experience from start to finish and a highly recommended 'must do' if you're local or an escape room fan looking for new regions to explore.
