Ok but customer handling bit below par when details go wrong.

点评：Just a friendly piece of advice to clients booking the cafe/restaurant.
My booking details arrived at the cafe (via OpenTable) as an outside table booking but I am 99.999999999 % sure the OpenTable booking system did not allow me to choose inside or outside so I assumed it was to be an indoors table. Wrong assumption and got bounced outside which was not an option I took up on a cold day.
We were allowed an hour only indoors as their measure to mitigate the situation after I emailed ahead as the booking email confirmation showed outdoors.
The table seating queue welcome was harsh and the reason was that’s how the order arrived.
To avoid who blames who I recommend you be sure you know if your booking is inside or outside from the outset.
I felt certain by the handling of the issue they had had this numerous times before and were fed up with client disappointment.
As I say, whose fault it actually was is a tiresome argument I have no desire to prolong but just check the booking is clear.
The software online does ask to chose when I tested today after the event but I feel sure it originally failed to.
Other than that the experience is undeniably pleasant in terms of quality of produce used in the dishes and there’s room for improvement with the white of plates showing on the bacon brioche sandwich. Pleasant but a bit simple dish.
