A Very Enjoyable and Memorable Experience!

点评：My husband Will and I went on a three-day kayaking adventure with Horizon Adventures from 18-20 September. Our fellow paddlers were Michelle from Toronto and Rebecca from Manchester, England. We were in good hands with Rick and Alex, our very friendly and eminently capable guides. Rick knows everything there is to know about kayaking and about the area, and Alex's own extensive knowledge and skills are augmented by his impressive cooking skills. The things that man can do with a propane stove!
Our campsite was well situated, with several excellent camping spots. Unfortunately, there were a fair number of mosquitoes who felt the same way....But bug nets took care of that problem, and the sunsets were beautiful and the company congenial.
The weather and the spectacular scenery of Georgian Bay were ideal for paddling, and we all enjoyed our time on the water. Horizon Adventures' boats and equipment were more than up to the task, and Rick and Alex knew their way around and talked very knowledgeably about our surroundings, so we always felt comfortable and could relax and truly enjoy the amazing Group of Seven landscape. They also taught us some paddling skills so we could work more efficiently, which was much appreciated.
