Beautiful, Cypriot Family-run winery!

点评：Wonderful winery in the picturesque mountains of the Limassol district. My family and I stopped in for a quick tasting on our way through a trip in the mountains. From the moment you enter the winery, you are greeted by a beautiful atmosphere with a Franciscan-era bridge and a beautiful entrance with a very cool photo opp with an outdoor grape art installation.
Marios and his lovely and knowledgeable daughter were both very kind to walk us through their production and their staple products, answering all our questions.
The tasting is a very reasonable cost and actually is applied towards your purchase if you buy wine. All the wines were fantastic, we bought a couple to take back to the states. They will package any purchases you make well for travel.
The Commandaria and Zivania particularly, both staple Cypriot products, were each unique and perhaps some of the best in their class of these products. The Commandaria was very flavorful with a wonderful spiced taste and not at all overly sweet like many are. The Zivania, although of course very strong, was very smooth. In fact, the Zivanja they produced was so smooth we somehow convinced my Cypriot mother to try her first-ever taste of Zivania.
And of course it definitely doesn’t hurt to have some cute kitties around the winery! Definitely pay a visit to have some fantastic wines and support a beautiful local and family-operated Cypriot business!
