点评:The Meal + Cooking Experience + Market Tour with Pimmy was such a cool experience during our trip to Bangkok! Pimmy was such a knowledgeable and friendly host. The experience started with her taking us on a tour of the local On Nut market near the cooking studio. She showed us some of the local Thai ingredients we would be cooking with, as well as telling us about similar alternatives we could use to recreate the dish back home. After the market tour we returned to the cooking studio to prepare our meal. Everything was individually portioned, so everyone got an opportunity to cook each dish. Then menu varies depending on the day of the week, but for our class we made hand-ground Green Curry Paste (Nam Prik Gaeng Kheao Wan), Coconut Soup with Chicken (Tom Kha Gai), Stir Fried Noodles Thai Shrimps (PadThai Khung), Green Curry Chicken (Kheang Kheao Wan), and Mango with Sticky Rice (Khao Niaow Manmuang). Pimmy provided excellent instructions for how to cook each dish, and her staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was delicious and you definitely don't leave hungry! You also get to take home a recipe book with all of the dishes you cook plus the dishes that are made on the other days. The studio is easily accessible via the BTS. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Bangkok wanting to learn how to cook Thai food. You will not be disappointed!
