Fort Belmont的点评
点评：Fort Belmont, just off I-90 in Jackson, Minnesota is a real gemm. Ken and Craig are welcoming hosts. The church, known as the Delafield Lutheran Church – built in 1902, still serves as a wedding venue with the original pews in place. There is also prairie house built in the 1890’s with an outdoor summer kitchen displayed artifacts used by the Norwegian family that occupied the home until 1958. The Ft. Belmont museum contains American portraits painted, an authentic covered wagon and too much for me to mention. As priceless as these artifacts are, the real gem is Ken. Ken keeps the museums Model A, Model T, horseless carriage and a cool 1930 Lincoln convertible in working/running order. He has also completely restored his own 1930 Model A, which he purchased in 1967 and after many years of storing it, completed the restoration- and in fact drives it to work occasionally. He gave us a personal tour and his hospitality was tremendous. If you have time to stop, it is well worth it!
