A new friend on the other side of the world

点评：Together with my partner and Dilhan as our driver and tour guide, we traveled around the island for a week. At the end of the trip, we agreed that the best part of the trip was having Dilhan as our companion. We only booked a driver, but we got a professional and honest tour guide and also made a new friend on the other side of the world.
While friends told us about unpleasant experiences with their drivers, Dilhan was always honest, open to our suggestions and what we wanted to see. He didn't lure us into tourist traps or price traps, in fact, he saved us from them several times. He was a helpful contact person on all topics and even let us ask him all about Sri Lanka during the trip. There was always enough space in the car, and despite the chaotic traffic conditions, we always felt safe with Dilhan's driving style. His driving was so comfortable that I slept very well in the car ;). When Dilhan noticed this, he specially organized a pillow with its own pillowcase from his wife so that I could relax even better between stops.
It was really hard for us to say goodbye to Dilhan, and we really hope to see him again someday. We wish you all the best, our friend!
