Worst Greens Ever - Extremely disappointed
Royal Golf Course Vale Do Lobo的点评
点评：8 golfers arrived to play Vale De Lobo Royal on Sunday 10th May. The club house, surrounding areas, bar, restaurant and shops are amazing. Very professionally organised and run with very friendly and helpful staff.
The course itself (Royal) is a lovely tree lined course and from the first tee we were all very excited about playing. the Tee box areas had extremely narrow tee markers meaning with a late tee off time, some teeing areas were well used so left little room to move left or right to alter the position for driving. Teeing off at 3.40pm apparently meant no buggy service on course but we were told this service would be on course.
Now to the greens, in almost 40 years playing golf I have never experienced such poor greens, they were bumpy beyond belief, slow to the point of almost being unplayable with balls stopping on very acute downhill positions and uphill putts players had to almost beat the ball to get to the hole.
As lovely as the course is in general terms, the condition of the greens were so bad nothing could save our experience. All 8 golfers in our group left Vale De Lobo Royal dejected and very frustrated. We really expected more from this renowned course.
From speaking to other golfers at the clubhouse, it appears the Ocean course greens were not like this, we are sorry we had to suffer the greens on Royal Course.
