Tasting Paddles at Local Microbrewery

点评：We recently discovered this small local microbrewery while on holiday. You have to be looking for it to find it because it’s hidden away in the middle of a light industrial area in Forster. You’d be unlikely to stumble across it, although it’s only a 3 - 5 minute drive from the main beach.
We wanted to do a tasting so we ordered a paddle of four different beers - $20 for 200ml glasses (they also have smaller 89ml glasses if you’re driving).
It’s a friendly, relaxed place. The staff were immediately welcoming and took a lot of time to explain the different beers and help us make our choices. The owners/brewer Helen and David were both there and had a quick chat as well.
It’s a great little set-up here. You can hang out at the bar or find a table. There is some seating outside but this looks onto the carpark so we sat inside instead.
We really enjoyed the variety of beers and we would definitely come back again as they change their offerings and we’d be keen to try more.
As Christmas is just around the corner, we were happy to stock up and bought a slab of Treachery XPA and another of the barrel-aged stout.
