点评:We travelled with Reneldo who was fantastic for the 4 day (3 night) tour from Manila to Banaue and Sagada. Everything was organised very well in advance and Reneldo navigated the roads expertly!
The accomodation at both locations was as expected, we stayed at The Grandview Banaue which was reasonably new and well appointed and at the Maseferre Country Inn which was clean and simple. The location for both was fantastic, we enjoyed the view of the rice terraces in Banaue and the opportunity to walk around the streets in Sagada.
In Sagada we had a local tour with Theo who shared his culture, the traditions of the above ground burials at the hanging coffins and burial caves as well as shared cheeky jokes while spelunking (caving).
We also had a local tour of the town and rice terraces in Batad with Norma. This was no easy trek- my fitness app says 80 flights of stairs climbed and my legs agree! It was fantastic to see the people continuing to work the land and visit the much loved waterfall (my husband loved it… for me it wasn’t spectacular so if you’re legs aren’t up to it maybe skip that part). Riding on top of the Jeepny on the way back to town was fun also.
