点评："My wife and I successfully reached Uhuru Peak via the 6-day Machame route. Throughout this journey, we were supported by an incredible 11-member team from 'Kili Trips Tanzania.' From start to finish, we embraced the spirit of 'One Team, One Dream,' making every moment of the climb and descent truly enjoyable.
During the grueling ascent from Barafu Camp to Stella Point, the guides were exceptionally attentive. They constantly reminded us to hydrate and ensured our pace (Pole Pole) remained in perfect harmony with our breathing. In the face of biting winds, freezing cold, and snow, they kept us steady. In dangerous sections, they even walked off-path to act as a human shield, ready to catch us if we stumbled. After passing Stella Point, they thoughtfully encouraged us to take in the breathtaking sunrise and scenery, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the joy of the summit.
The most moving moment, however, was at the very top. The cold was so piercing that we couldn't even take our gloves off to snap a photo. Seeing this, our two guides, Alex and Fredy, asked for our camera. Without hesitation, they took off their own gloves and, with freezing hands, took numerous photos to capture our moment of triumph. I can only imagine how painful the cold must have been for them! I was deeply moved by their sacrifice. When I expressed my gratitude, they simply replied with a smile, 'Your satisfaction is our greatest pleasure.'
