The day began with a visit to the local market, where Chef Ben selected the freshest vegetables, fish, and chicken while sharing insights about Basque ingredients and traditions. We then met Chef Ben’s wife in their private kitchen, where we sipped local wine and cooked together in a warm, relaxed atmosphere—it felt like spending the day with friends. We learned new techniques, enjoyed incredible food, and ended the meal with amazing Pantxineta, a traditional Basque dessert, which we prepared.
