Lockport Visitor Center的点评
点评：The Lockport Visitor Center was one of the highlights of our visit. Beyond the excellent exhibits, we were fortunate to receive a personal tour from two exceptionally knowledgeable volunteers. Their enthusiasm for the Erie Canal and Lockport's history was contagious, and they brought the engineering, people, and stories behind the canal to life in a way no display alone could.
They generously answered our many questions and shared fascinating details that gave us a much deeper appreciation for the canal and the remarkable achievement of the Flight of Five and the modern locks. Their passion and generosity with their time made us feel genuinely welcome.
If you have any interest in history, engineering, or the Erie Canal, stop in and talk with the volunteers. It transformed a good visit into an unforgettable one.
