点评:I have been fortunate to travel frequently around DDay and other sites in Normandy and probably more widely around WWI sites in the Somme and Ypres among many others. I have absolutely no hesitation in saying that this museum in the Graf Spee bunker is amongst the best for content and probably THE best for the moving and personal nature of the personal histories it recounts and the very personal artefacts presented with stories. We were transfixed for several hours as we probaby read every word. We actually left, and then returned to thank the owner again and to buy the book of the museum. It is obvious from the credits throughout that the reason it is so moving and personal is that two local lads had the passion to create something to the memory of relatives and friends whilst faithfully recounting individual histories. In doing so they clearly had access to local families who were friends of parents and grandparents and therefore perhaps more open to telling their stories and loaning or donating artefacts. Absolutely wonderful. Not only worth a visit, worth a detour to visit.
