点评:We came here for the first time to walk around and explore. We’re from NY and love going to our local gardens and arboretums. We figured if this was a National one it must be awesome, but it felt like a giant park instead. There was minimal signage, no maps or real visitor center (we used google maps to navigate to certain areas) and we wish there had been a sign in the parking lot where you first entered saying there was a lot closer to the entrance because we parked there thinking that was the main lot and wound up walking uphill for 15 minutes just to get to the entrance. There is another lot closer to the park. Don’t do the NY lot right away. The arboretum felt like a lot of open field and not enough collection areas. Plus sharing the pathways with cars and bikes wasnt ideal or safe. We kept having to move over so cars could drive around. Overall it’s good for biking or driving through but if you’re looking for gorgeous collections of different plants and flowers this isn’t great.
