点评：We loved these Tours by Adventureland, so much we ended up doing 3!
A Central & West tour were prebooked before arriving and we were very fortunate to have had Felipe as our guide on the first day tour, then coincidently also the second day tour
These tours are an excellent way to see around the island of Madeira, which has such a diverse geography and each coastline is different
Together with our excellent guide Felipe, we leant a lot about the history & development of Madeira and Felipe knows a lot!; sharing with us stories; details of various plants & fruits and is very passionate & enthusiastic about his homeland. He drives the Jeep as if he has never done otherwise navigating very narrow (and we mean narrow) two-way roads as well as going off road
Having enjoyed the two tours we booked again for the 3rd tour but as some of that we had already covered (Pico da Arieiro) on a sunrise tour, the tour company and with help from Felipe rearranged their East Coast Tour for us to go a different way around so we were able to enjoy the Levada walk, visit to Santana and to the Rum factory still
The tour company – Adventureland and their tours were recommended by and booked via our hotel and would highly recommend this Jeep Tour company if you wish to see Madeira
Top tip – ask for Felipe if you can, he is so friendly; humorous and really does know Madeira, you will not only have interesting tours but also very enjoyable!
