Read the one- and two-star reviews before booking

点评：If you are fit, sporty and completely confident with this type of activity, you may love it. If not, I would think very carefully before booking.
My wife booked the “full-day” trip at short notice. She telephoned the day before and was assured that it was suitable for families and complete beginners. However, no questions were asked about the participants’ ages, fitness levels, experience or confidence.
Our group consisted of three families—12 people in total, including the guide.
The guide showed very little empathy towards our nervous daughter and, as some other reviewers have reported, appeared primarily concerned with keeping to his schedule.
More seriously, we were extremely concerned by the apparent lack of basic safety precautions. Although we were the family at the back and were visibly struggling, the guide made no meaningful attempt to check that we were all right or keeping up with the group. At one point, the route changed direction. Had one of our daughters, who was further ahead, not waited to show us where the others had gone, we could easily have become separated from the group.
I also struggled with the heat and some of the more physical aspects of the activity and found it extremely difficult to complete.
Despite being described as a “full-day” trip, the entire experience was completed in approximately three and a half hours. It felt rushed, with too little allowance made for differing ages, abilities and confidence levels.
We ended up enduring the trip rather than enjoying it.
Please don’t rely solely on the five-star reviews. Read the one- and two-star reviews as well, particularly the recurring comments about the guide’s attitude and approach to safety, and then decide whether this experience is genuinely suitable for your family.
