We spent 9 days in Kashmir with Imran, who handled everything from our initial airport pickup to our final drop-off. He is far more than just a driver; he is an incredibly knowledgeable, responsible, resourceful, and courteous professional.
From the start, Imran went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable, even assisting us with the logistics of getting local SIM cards. However, it was his actions during a medical emergency that truly showed his character. When one of our friends developed AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) after we took the Gondola in Gulmarg, the situation became serious.
Imran immediately took charge. He accompanied our friend to a hospital an hour away, stayed through the local treatment, and then escorted him all the way back to Srinagar. To ensure the rest of our group was looked after, he arranged for another driver to take us back in his own car. He even went as far as purchasing the necessary medicines out of his own pocket. When we later asked what we owed for the additional driver he had coordinated, he refused to take anything extra.
Beyond our personal needs, Imran also spearheaded the coordination of drivers for our other friends in the area, and everyone was thrilled with the service. We cannot thank him enough for his kindness, his professionalism, and his genuine care for our safety. If you are visiting Kashmir, you could not be in better hands than Imran’s.
