点评：I wanted a grand adventure with my son to create memories of a special trip together. Bicycling (real bikes...not those old-people e-bikes) across the Istrian Peninsula seemed like just the ticket. It was!
Air travel got screwed up, it rained a lot, a few of the roads had lots of car traffic and no bike paths, tires leaked air, road construction caused detours...these were all to be expected ... BUT at the top level, the trip, the planning, the logistics, the hotels, the routes, the meals, the bikes, the roads, the scenery, the route mapping app, the towns, the locals, (the dearth of tourists), the weather, and the memories, were all as good as we could have possibly asked for, and we consider this to have been a perfect and wonderful adventure trip. We are sooo pleased!
We were looking for a tour company where we could get "just enough" (local expert route selection, hotel selection, App guidance, bicycles, emergency support, luggage transfer), but not "too much". We did not want to be tied to a group of strangers. We did not want to be tied to a "leader". We did not want to be on someone else's schedule. We wanted to adjust the schedule around our interests and needs, (extra time in Venice at both ends, extra time in Trieste at the end, extra rest day inserted in the middle). And mostly, we wanted to *start* on our schedule.
Discover France and their partners made it all work, to meet our needs and preferences, pretty much to perfection.
A BIG THANK YOU to Gabriel Tavares, our Tour Consultant at Discover France for all of his help and patience, in holding our hand, and guiding us through this - a new procedure for us. The first time through this process creates lots of questions, worries and concerns, but Gabriel's help was essential to creating an excellent overall experience. We are very grateful.
...now Ireland looks pretty interesting...

Discover France及其合作伙伴帮我们把一切都安排妥当，几乎完美地满足了我们的需求和偏好。
