Our Driver Norris
Island Turf Tours的点评
点评：We were greeted at Montego Bay Airport by our driver, Norris, who immediately set the tone for a great start to our trip. He patiently waited while the rest of our family arrived (they were about 30 minutes behind us), making sure all eight of us were accounted for and comfortable.
Once everyone was together, Norris loaded us up and we headed to CocoLaPalm in Negril. Along the way, he offered us cold water and even a few Red Stripes—an unexpected and very appreciated touch.
Norris was a fantastic conversationalist, sharing stories about the island, local history, and notable sights along the drive. While we did pass through some areas still recovering from hurricane damage, his perspective added context and depth to what we were seeing.
After arriving at CocoLaPalm, Norris told us about several spots off the usual tourist path and encouraged us to text him if we wanted to check them out. We absolutely took him up on that offer.
One of those recommendations was Xtabi, known for cliff jumping. The place was stunning, the view was beautiful. Norris didn’t just drop us off—he gave us a full tour, including underground caves and snorkeling areas. He truly went above and beyond, and it ended up being one of our favorite experiences of the trip. It’s a must-visit, and we’ll definitely return on our next visit.
He also recommended dinner at Ivan’s, another gem we never would have discovered on our own. The food was delicious, and the view was absolutely gorgeous. We arrived after sunset, so I’d strongly recommend planning a sunset dinner—the setting is spectacular and completely worth it.
