点评：What a great and underrated dive this is. If you are on the Sunshine Coast and diving and haven’t made the drive up to Hervey Bay to dive with Ed and Rach you are missing out.
Great service, small dive groups and a 130m wreck that supports open and advanced diving in 15/25m and deeper penetrations and tech depending on your capabilities and comfort level down to 40ish odd meters. Especially now on the Sunshine Coast with the cyclone damage to the ex-HMAS Brisbane the Tobruk is your warship to go to if you want to go inside.
Absolutely teeming with life especially large turtles , groupers and rays, *cough* bull sharks (for me a plus , not everyone is keen on seeing those guys though !) Because it is 26nm off shore it is quite isolated so the fish there are plentiful and large so much to see just on the port rail at 15m where even an open water diver can go to.
Plenty of penetration options depending on your skill/cert level. Due to the size of the vessel there is no way to see it all in one or two dives so plenty to come back for.
90 min boat trip from harbour to dive site, 2 x45 min dives (timed to get both dives done before the tide changes and the current gets unmanageable) .
Highly recommended , definitely should be higher ranked in the must dive lists of places to hit in Queensland.
