Fun trip but don’t book with Le Boat
Le Boat - Castelnaudary的点评
点评：Would recommend renting a boat to tour the Canal du Midi. Its a great experience. Recommend renting from a different company than Le Boat.
We reserved the full package boat with bbq and bikes. The man who checked us in told us that there wasn’t a waste water tank to empty. It went straight into the canal. No kidding. We all heard this. When we returned the boat after 11 days we complained about the bad smell. He said our waste tank was full. It should have been emptied in Homps when we got gas. No one there mentioned it to us. We requested clean towels in Homps. He said we should have been given two sets. We were given one set. The man who showed us how to operate the boat said don’t bother with the bbq as it won’t heat up enough. He was right. There we very few bikes available when we checked in. They were rusty so we asked for some oil. We exchanged one when we went back through Cassafière. It was fine for one ride then got a flat tire that was punctured. One of the other bikes had the chain keep falling off. A third bike got a flat tire on our last day. So of five bikes, four had to be repaired. The refrigerator was falling out of it’s cabinet and the side door holder was broken. Water gauge and fuel gauges didn’t work. Windshield wipers didn’t work.
We felt the man who checked us in out right lied to us about the waste tanks. We weren’t able to get our boat until about 5 pm, leaving little time to get going. In Homps they should have known to empty the waste water tanks.
We needed taxis to go from castelnaudry to the carcassonne airport. The man at the desk told me Le Boat had a special relationship with the only cab company. He said it cost 100 euros. I just looked up on the internet, the cost should have been 6-9 euros! We got ripped off. I think your employee lied to us and was given a cut by the driver. Thanks a lot for the excellent way to take advantage of foreigners!

我们需要出租车从卡斯特诺德里前往卡尔卡松机场。前台的工作人员告诉我，Le Boat与当地唯一的出租车公司有特殊合作关系，费用是100欧元。可我在网上查了一下，实际费用应该只有6到9欧元而已！我们被坑了。我觉得你们的员工对我们撒了谎，还从司机那里拿回了扣款。多谢你们如此“出色”地利用外国人来牟利啊！
