点评：What an amazing all encompassing experience I had at Vida Verde. I have experienced 2 weeks of immersion spanish before, but this was another type of experience. This is a small school in Quito with the very personal touch. I took classes for 2 weeks in the morning and chose to do the cultural experience for 3 days each week in the afternoon. Classes were great, I cemented my very beginning spanish. But this was only part of the experience. The afternoon cultural experience was fabulous. One of the instructors from the school took us on these excursions. He gave lots of the locals information and he spoke in a Spanish that even I, as a beginner could understand. I opted for 2 days of weekend excursions, all I had to do was say I wanted to do this or that, and the school booked the trips. I even asked for a recommendation on where I could see the hummingbirds, and instead of just pointing me in the right direction, a whole tour was created to include this. And our tour guide was none other than the Rosa, the director of vida verde. You couldn’t ask for a more personal touch.
