A great musical performance that stays true to the old songs of Napoli

点评：In a cozy little space (that used to be a garage for taxis, as we were told) we experienced a great musical performance of old napoletano songs. It lasted about an hour and included about 10 songs and a very interesting solo piano interlude (that contained various musical pieces - not only napoletano). The musicians and the singers were excellent and (in my non-so-expert opinion) performed the songs in a fashion which was very true to their spirit and mood. Pictures of landscapes or relevant album covers were projected behind the players, accompanying each song. Before the show we were also given a fairly detailed note about the songs of the program, which was very useful and brought us closer to the spirit of each composition. The performers and the rest of the staff involved were very kind and gracious (we were also offered a small drink). All in all, a marvelous experience!
The only obstacle (for us) was that we went to the actual place in the morning, to book seats, but we were told that booking seats was available only via WhatsApp, an application that we did not have (and did not want to have) on our phones. Fortunately, we were given the alternative to send a request via e-mail. And, even though the show of that night seemed to be sold-out, we were advised to come 15 minutes before the show just in case there was a possibility to accomodate us - which eventually happened and we enjoyed that night's show after all !
Our thanks to all involved with the Nalupitanata project ! May they keep it going !!
