点评：A true hidden gem of Japan.
Udo Jingu. You are truly incredible. The shrine and location are beyond words. I am so lucky to have been here. To be in this moment in time with others, hearing the ocean crash against the walls and rocks in which the shrine is encased. To hear the flute being played by the priest whilst the wings of the ocean are in full flight, crashing upon the land... And we? Us? We are protected within the cocoon.
The priests - guardians of the shrine. I felt as if I am a student, observing their teachings in worship. It was a marvelous trip.
To get here you can go from miyazaki train station and buy the pass (it opens at 9am) bring your passport and return flight home ticket. And you can get the pass. The journey there is tedious, however going back you're so enthralled with the experience of the beautiful udo jingu shrine, you don't really care.
Make sure you leave before 3pm returning.
