点评:This one-of-a-kind rest stop is found midway along the Tokyo Bay Aqua Line, a unique bridge-tunnel route that connects Kisarazu, Chiba to Kawasaki, Kanagawa, right across the Tokyo Bay. It is a five-storied building that sits on an artificial island in the middle of Tokyo Bay, and the design is said to mimic a cruise ship, which really makes this rest stop stand out amongst the rest. Levels 1–3 are dedicated to parking Level 1 is largely for buses, and Levels 2 and 3 are dedicated to different flows of traffic (depending on where you are arriving from). Driving is ok and easy enough to follow, so it was not too daunting. It will make your life a lot easier if you get the rental car that comes with onboard ETC. Levels 4 and 5 are where the commercial shopping and dining options are. There are plenty of options to choose from, from food court, to conveyor belt sushi restaurants, western options, and more traditional Japanese options. The uppermost two levels are also where you can get panoramic views of Tokyo Bay, which is a really nice respite if you have been driving all day. It was raining/cloudy the day we visited, so our views were masked somewhat, but still a really nice experience overall.
