点评：We had been to Sri Lanka several times earlier but mostly to Colombo and a visit to Kandy and Sigiriya in way back 1997 . This time we decided to go around a bit and connected with Mr Kumara of ‘Tours for Sri Lanka’ through our family in Colombo. It was a wonderful experience right from the beginning . Various itinerary options were provided and finally curated as per our requirement. This also included a slight change in order to avoid the hill areas which had been affected by the heavy cyclone driven rains. Good hotels were recommended and that coordination was done by Ms Sonali from ‘Tours for Sri Lanka’
The best part was yet to come – The Tour Guide assigned to us was Mr Sanjaya Ratna Singhe who drove us around . A very pleasant personality , he connected with all of us immediately and the family was very comfortable . He is punctual , courteous , knowledgeable , helpful and knew the geography very well and the drive with stopovers was well planned.
Once the itinerary was finalised with costs there were no further hidden charges and local sightseeing etc was as per choice with no insistence and imposition.
For any one planning a visit to Sri Lanka one should consider Tours for Sri lanka especially for small family groups.
