Nomadtours - Land & Camping tours的点评
点评：In October 2025 we booked a guided desert crossing with Nomadtours. I know that there are people who say that you can save the money and do the crossing on your own by adhering to the GPS track you can find somewhere.
Well, we have been to the desert a couple of times but we certainly did not want to risk our lives and spend precious holiday time by finding the correct track and, moreover, did we want to learn more about the desert and the people who live there.
Chris from Nomadtours assigned guide Ahmed to us. What can say? Ahmed issuch a nice guy and we enjoyed spending the day together with him very much. Ahmed picked a great track for us and was an experienced driver. We enjoyed his great hospitality and all the insights he explained to us during the drive.
On a side note, the track we tried to take in the first place was no longer maintained and we were lucky to have Ahmed at our side who, of course, knew another track. If we had been on our own, we would have stuck strictly to the GPS track and would have ended up with our car being suck in deep sand.
