Below Average Experience – Mainly Worth Visiting for the View & Light and Sound Show

点评：Gwalior Fort is undoubtedly an important historical site, but my overall experience was below average. The fort and its surroundings did not appear to be maintained as well as expected, and the public facilities, especially the toilets, were quite dirty and poorly maintained.
A major portion of the fort area has effectively been converted into a park-like space, so if you are expecting a grand, well-preserved fort experience throughout, you may find it underwhelming.
Another issue is that separate tickets are required for different sections of the fort, which makes the overall visit feel somewhat fragmented.
For me, the two highlights were the city view after sunset and, especially, the Light & Sound Show. The Light & Sound Show was easily the best part of my visit.
However, there is an important practical issue: after sunset, the fort closes and the public facilities inside are no longer accessible, while the Light & Sound Show continues. There should ideally be basic toilet facilities available for visitors attending the evening show.
Overall, I would say Gwalior Fort is worth visiting primarily for the views and the Light & Sound Show, but the maintenance, cleanliness, public facilities and overall visitor experience need significant improvement.
