A Once-in-a-Lifetime Journey With Mongolia’s Nomads

点评：I had the rare chance to travel with Yerlan to visit the eagle hunters in Western Mongolia and the reindeer herders in the North. It was one of the most magnificent experiences I’ve ever had — deeply touching, visually stunning, and meaningful in a way that stays with you long after the trip ends.
Watching how people live in harmony with nature and their animals, observing their traditional lifestyles, and feeling the stillness of the land taught me so much about mindfulness, presence, and reconnecting with Mother Earth.
Yerlan is incredibly knowledgeable, and I truly appreciate how he supported our group throughout the journey. We didn’t have to worry about anything except learning to adapt to the winter cold (we’re all from tropical countries!). Yerlan organized the logistics team, the ger set-ups, and the meals. Sometimes we ate with the locals for a full cultural immersion, and sometimes the team cooked for us — everything felt effortless and authentic.
He is also a very talented photographer and knows so much about Mongolian culture, history, and the nomadic way of life. Traveling with him felt both safe and inspiring.
