点评:Ring the bell at the private entrance that looks like the door to a private townhouse, and step inside to what truly deserves its reputation as the top attraction in Kalamata. I am not a fashionista, embroidery fan and can barely sew a button on a shirt, but this collection knocked my shabby wool socks off! We were greeted by a well-tailored (of course!) man, who turned out to be the chief conservator. He gave us a very warm welcome and informative tour of the ground floor and left us to explore the other three floors. Thinking I would only spend twenty minutes there and check it off my list, I ended up staying for two hours, barely keeping my jaw off the floor as I moved from one amazing dress, jewelry display and video label to another. The lighting, presentation and supplemental descriptions are simply world-class. We left promising ourselves to return again and tell others of our “find. Admission is €5 adults, €3 for seniors.
