点评：This was a really great experience about the Jeffersons rum business and how it was made and also the trade in sugar cane etc from the West Indies to Whitehaven. Lots of information and things to see. It really is worth a visit with a very reasonable entrance fee for the amount of time you can spend here. My only criticism is the fact that they have decided to water down history for fear of offending people. I feel this is completely wrong. We only learn from fact. The slave trade is a well documented part of history and a shameful one. But it happened. And changing terminology and dampening down how it really was incase of upsetting someone is ludicrous. We should know the truth and reflect on it . On saying that, it's a great experience and highly recommended to all. Staff member Jacqui was an absolute delight. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Really worth a visit. Lovely cafe and rum shop too .
