Huron Historic Gaol的点评
点评：I loved it and would have liked to spend more time in it but I just couldn't stand the conditions any longer. Only criticism are that some of the information has become illegible. I do not understand why the staff is not quickly retyping it on the computer, print out - bingo! Or the signs which are to far away do to a barrier and one cannot read it. I do not understand that the staff does not notice this.
The audio guide gives lots of extra information (sadly only while in the gaol. No way to listen to it before visiting as a preparation nor afterwards to catch what you missed.). I liked that they were very short.
BUT (and that's why 3/5) - there is no AC, so not a good idea for a hot and/or humid day or during poor air quality during forest fires. Sadly I live way to far away to "just come back" some other time.
There are combined tickets with the museum in Goderich which has AC ;-) And which is also a 5/5!
