Road to Salkantay with Local Trekkers Peru

点评：During my months of traveling through South America I have done many guided tours but the Salkantay Trek was one of the most unforgettable thanks to the Local Trekkers Peru team, and in particular because of our incredible guide Roger. It is hard to fully describe how much enthusiasm, humor, knowledge, and care that Roger put into our tour, constantly going above and beyond. Plus, we are so grateful that we were put in Roger group, because it seemed like compared to the other trekking companies we were always the ones having the most fun ☺️
Additionally, the food was unlike any food I had ever had on a hiking tour. I was expecting chicken and potatoes for every meal, and so I was very pleasantly surprised when we got to have restaurant quality meals, including dishes like trout and mango ceviche.
Finally, the horseman was fantastic, ensuring that our duffels and supplies were safely delivered to our accommodations each day.
Thank you to the entireLocal Trekkers Peru team for making our time on the Salkantay Trek so memorable will be strongly recommending this company to all of my friends.
