点评：Great Tarpon trip with Capt. Junior !!
We rolled into the parking lot at 6:29am and were on the skiff and heading out by 6:35am, no time wasted. Capt. Junior shared that he had been tracking a school of Tarpon over the last few days and headed directly to that spot. Sure enough, there were Poons rolling as we approached. He killed the motor and poled us right up to them. We made several shots at them and they scattered. Capt. Junior then made a run to another spot 20-30min away and we were back on them again. He brought quality fly gear and a great assortment of flies. He also brought a spinning outfit that we landed a 22in trout on. Capt. Junior stayed up poling a great majority of the day, weaving us in and out of a mangrove maze. I'm not clear how he got us in so much skinny gin clear water, but he did so keeping us out of a headwind all day. This is my third trip with OKM, and they consistently produce quality opportunities for the target species, they clean your catch when appropriate and are great guys to spend a day on the water with.
