Airboat Adventures的点评
点评：My son uses a power wheelchair and life support machines so obviously safety is paramount. We were very impressed by Airboat Adventures’s setup: the person indoors at the desk directed me to park our handicap van past the uneven gravel parking lot on a parking pad accommodating two generously-sized handicap parking spaces, more than enough for our ramp van. This was directly across one lane of traffic from the special waiting area designated for wheelchair users. We couldn’t do an airboat tour (too loud / not wheelchair accessible), but they have an amazing pontoon boat setup that was perfect for us. When it was time to board, we went first , using a boat ramp that was the safest we have ever used: most of it was over land; it was highly secured and height adjustable. It did have a bit of a lip to get his chair onto the ramp, but with a careful push forward from the attendant position behind the wheelchair we were able to do it safely. Once on the boat we parked his wheelchair in the first open area, where we had a great view throughout the tour. Disembarking was similarly smooth. The only thing he couldn’t access in the whole place was to see the raised tank where the leucistic alligator (but I hopped up and took a picture for him). Our tour guide was fantastic, he had a gentle spirit and a great sense of humor and really felt like a “local flavor” tour.
